âī¸Basic Macro Usage
There's several ways to use our MACROS
Simple Click: When you see a blinking cursor in your document, clicking on a Macro button will paste that Macro prompt into the document. This can be a helpful reminder of what's written in your Macro (but it also has an advanced use case we'll cover below).
Highlighting: Highlight all the text you'd like to transform with your cursor, and click the relevant Macro. The AI will gather your context, refer to the Macro's instructions, and proceed with your request.
Macro Chains: For process flows and piecing together multiple prompts, you can paste multiple prompts into the document and process them all together as complex macro chain. In this way, you can use the output of one Macro as the input for another!
This demo was also created almost ENTIRELY with ThoughtfulGPT's Macros. There were a few edits made by our CEO, since you still need a human in the loop on the work being done by AI, but it cut the time to complete the demo down by 90%.
In the next module we'll dig in to creating your own Macros!
